Baking with Passion

I have enjoyed home baking for as long as I can remember – perhaps not making it myself – but certainly eating it! Growing up in Poland in the late 80s, we didn’t have many sweet things to eat, so baking murzynek cake (a light chocolate sponge cake) with my mum would be a real treat. My first memories of home baking were of course with my mum, and wanting to eat the batter – and always being disappointed when she told me I’d get a sore tummy!

Coming to Scotland in 2006, I started to miss my mums home cooking, so I learned the recipes myself, and would serve them any time guests came round. 

Now I’m bringing them to all of you to enjoy.
